The 2nd presidential debate schedule for October 15th 2020 has been canceled by the commission on presidential debates.

Here’s what we know and why it was canceled..

- On Thursday October 8, 2020, the Commission for Presidential Debates announced the debate scheduled for October 15 would be virtual.

  • October 8, 2020: Trump refused to do a virtual debate.

- Biden’s campaign proposed moving the second debate to Oct. 22 and Trump’s campaign agreed, also proposing to move the third debate to Oct. 29.

  • Trump’s campaign says the president can return to public engagements on Saturday and called for the original debate to proceed as planned. Biden campaign declined.

There you have it. Both camps can’t seem to agree so we’ll wait to see what happens next.
