5 Women Trailblazers That Have Changed the World

On the last day of Women’s history month it’s time to highlight 5 women trailblazers past and present who made an impact on the world.

We ought to recognize women who have made history by recognizing and celebrating their achievements. Unlike men, so many women have impacted the world positively for long without recognition. History has not been fair when it comes to talking about such women. But we can change the narrative by telling stories of women who have significantly contributed to society in different ways. Of course, there are countless women who should be celebrated but here, we will identify five past and present women heroes who cannot be excluded in history.

Trailblazer Mary Kenner (Innovator)

Mary Beatrice Kenner was born in 1912 and died in 2006. She became an innovator from her childhood, at six years only, Marry had an idea of an invention that could solve their squeaky door whose noise would wake her up every morning as her mother left for work. Mary is mostly known for the notable sanitary belt invention. Notably, she was born from a humble background (she dropped from school due to financial constraints) but Mary managed to save enough money from her odd jobs to file the elastic sanitary belt invention. Its purpose was to hold sanitary napkins in place. It was a better solution as it prevented leaks compared to the rags which were used at the time. The invention was recognized by many feminine hygiene companies.
